Immunological Fecal Occult Blood Test (also known as iFOB or FIT test) is a rapid, immunochemical test for the qualitative determination of fecal occult blood. This test is useful in determining gastrointestinal (GI) bleeding in a number of GI disorders, e.g. diverticulitis, colitis, polyps, and colorectal cancer.

Due to increased sensitivity of the test, only one stool collection is recommended.
