Specimen Collection Instructions

Nasopharyangeal - Collect green culturette swab (no transport media)

Nasal - Collect red culturette swab (no transport media)
 

Must be seperate collection from FLU and RSV testing

Send to laboratory for testing immediately after collection.

This assay is a rapid molecular test intended for the qualitative detection of COVID-19 in either nasopharyngeal swab or nasal swab in individuals suspected of respiratory viral infection consistent with COVID-19 by their healthcare provider.
